Here at Doves Funeral Directors we are an independent company and proud to be serving the community in which 4 generations of our family have lived.
We have created a place to come to that feels like home, where you can take all the time you need. We take care of every aspect of the funeral in a truly personal way.
When a loved one passes away this can be a time of over whelming emotion. As a local independent funeral director, we are here to listen and assist, being able to treat your family as part of our own.
Sam, Hitesh and Naomi will help to provide the funeral that you want and need, we believe it is you, the families and friends who know best. Therefore, we support and encourage you to create a meaningful and personal funeral that both you and your family would be proud of.

The values an individual expects in life are the same values an individual can expect in death.
We care .This means we will care for the individual who has died as if their family and friends were in the room with us. Here at Doves you can be in the room with us, washing and dressing your family member. This can be due to religious cultural or traditional beliefs’, if this is something that is important to you we will assist you to make it happen. You will have a trained member of staff with you at all times or you can trust us to carry this out in the caring professional manner you expect. They will be referred to by their preferred name as they were in life. Their dignity will at all times be maintained, everyone counts. This is something that is as important to us as it is to you.
Embalming is not undertaken as standard but only after discussion and with the family’s permission.
We ‘Continue to Care’. As we care for someone in life, we care for them in death. We believe in assisting you to create a meaningful, authentic personal funeral that is unique to you and yours. To provide the funeral you want, need and a funeral you can be proud of.
